Aftermarket mounting bracket designed for the detachable control head of the Icom IC-706MKIIG, as an alternative to the MB-63 head bracket for stationary indoor installations. Includes one 3D-printed bracket in black PETG, with four retaining tabs and two stepped mounting holes. Approximate overall size: 92.14 x 54.00 x 13.00 mm. The bracket has a plain front and a recessed rear panel. The radio, microphone, separation cable, stand, mounting screws and other hardware are not included. Attach the bracket to a stable stationary support using suitable hardware through the two mounting holes. Check that screw heads remain clear of the control head. Align the control head with the retaining tabs without forcing it. Do not bend or lever the tabs during installation. Please verify the exact radio model and compare the mounting arrangement and dimensions before purchase. Compatibility with other IC-706 variants is not claimed. This bracket is intended for stationary indoor use only and is not intended for vehicle installation or locations subject to heat, vibration or impact. This independent version has been checked geometrically against a reference bracket with third-party fit reports; it has not been physically tested on a radio.
