The Chin & Head Rest is a desk rest that holds your chin and your head steady at a fixed working distance, in the vision science tradition where a stable head position makes near-point work repeatable and measurable. It ships as a kit of 15 named printed parts, 34 pieces in all, and goes together by hand in about 30 minutes with no glue and no special tool. Every joint is modular: bar halves join at shaped dovetail ends, each pole builds up from four tube segments screwed together, the chin cup bolts on with M3 nuts and bolts, and the bars clamp at the height you choose with knurled thumb screws. Built up it stands about 22 × 49 × 43 cm.
